About Me

Hi, I'm Ingrid - a French mum of two bilingual kids, now living under the Aussie sun!
I feel incredibly lucky that my children are able to attend a French immersion program here in Australia. But as I connected with more families on their own bilingual journeys, I quickly realised how few have access to these kinds of programs or resources — especially ones that are fun, engaging, and designed for kids.
That’s what inspired me to create LinguistiKids.
Fun Facts About Me:
√ I was born on the beautiful island of Réunion, a tropical French territory in the Indian Ocean.
√ I moved to Australia at the age of 13, and have been navigating multiple cultures ever since.
√ I studied Italian in high school and was awarded a 6-month scholarship by the Queensland Department of Education to live and study in Italy — an unforgettable experience that deepened my love for languages and cultural exchange.

Meet our Ambassadors!
Say bonjour, hola, ciao... to the incredible mums who help make our resources multilingual! Our Mumbassadors are native speakers of the languages featured in our resources. They generously volunteer their time to proofread and review our bilingual kits - ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural authenticity for your little learners.
Their insights help us offer high-quality materials for teachers and families around the world.

Want to join the team?
Are you a native speaker of a language other than English? Passionate about passing your language on to the next generation? We’d love to have you on board as a LinguistiKids Mumbassador!
Our kits are designed to help bilingual kids thrive — and with your help, we can offer them in more languages.
What does it involve?
As a Mumbassador, you’ll be invited to:
-
Proofread and review bilingual versions of our kits in your native language
-
Test the materials with your own child(ren), if you wish
-
Help ensure that our translations sound natural, accurate, and age-appropriate
-
Represent your language on our platform
-
Receive free access to our growing library of printable resources
Please note:
You are not expected to translate the materials yourself — our team or tools will handle the initial translation. We simply need your native-speaker eye to check the accuracy, tone, and clarity of what’s already been prepared.
